About Linda Redhead
My Story
Linda Redhead, MS, ACC, EDU is the Owner of Activity Advisor. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration and Art Therapy from the School of Visual Arts and holds a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy from the College of New Rochelle.
With a career spanning more than 40 years, Linda has worked with a wide range of populations before discovering her passion – enhancing the lives of older adults. She is an NCCAP Certified Activity Consultant with a Specialization in Education and has extensive experience along the continuum of long-term care.
As an Instructor for the Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals (MEPAP), Linda was honored as the Mepap Instructor of the Year in 2013. She has dedicated many years of service to the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP), holding numerous leadership roles including New York State Representative, Board Member for Special Projects, Chairperson for Special Projects, Vice President, President and currently serves as Immediate Past President.
Linda offers the Mepap course in an independent study format, providing flexibility for today’s leaners. She also currently teaches the Standardized Activity Director Certification Course as a licensed instructor for NCCAP.
Mrs. Redhead is available for one to one consulting, facility consultation, and offers discount rates to hosting organizations for MEPAP training.
